When was Bassil struggling??

… About Geagea’s statement that the LF and the FPM had struggled together, the minister said: “We weren’t struggling with Geagea. He was killing us and killing the FPM youth along with (Syria’s former intelligence chief in Lebanon) Ghazi Kanaan.”

That was a brief part of Gebran Bassil’s reply to Geagea’s appeal to FPM supporters.

I only took this part from Bassil’s statement because as everybody know, including a wide range of FPM supporters, Bassil has never been related to struggling, not once in his life he has struggled. In fact, he has no history in resistance, unlike other FPM current or former officials and supporters.

Bassil knows nothing about the 7 August, nor about resisting the Syrians and their sponsored security regime in Lebanon. He knows nothing about the secret jails at the Ministry of Defense, etc….

On the contrary, he knows everything about the Syrians checkpoints in North Lebanon and Al Masna3 border, since he enjoyed a great relation with them and was always welcomed on his way from or to his house in Batroun.

So of his statement from yesterday, we should believe only one part “We weren’t struggling with Geagea” and he’s right here, mainly because the statement followed his return from Damascus.

Do we need to explain more?
