May Chidiac … never mind them

Two opposite pictures in this post.

On one hand, the great speech of May Chidiac in the LF ceremony yesterday:

Part (2) of the Video

And on the other hand the condemened reactions of Sleiman, Berri, and Kahwaji:

Well, what I want to say is that May Chidiac was superb in her speech, and I totally agree on every word she said.

What I like to say also is shame on those who have withdrew their representatives or represenations (Childish!!!).

What I want to say is that May and all the Freedom activists in this country will not be affected by that, and will continue their path towards a full independence and sovereignty.

I want to ask: That much they can’t stand the truth or the other opinion in Lebanon? that much they are dominated by their Syrian belonging? So is it forbidden now to say anything against Syria? Why they are not defending some Lebanese figures who are always attacked by the Syrians? it is a shame.

What I want to say is shame on any official or politician who deal in that way with May Chidiac, with all what she represents and all what she went through.

What I want to say, is that shame on MP Antoine Zahra if he really said what is mentioned above, May Chidiac does not deserve that, as she spoke everyone’s mind, and of course the LF mind.

What I want to say finally to May Chidiac, never mind those reactions, never mind these people, you will be remembered and respected for ever, while they will be forgotten and cursed by History.

Responses

  1. Go LF, GO May Chidiac, she was brilliant yesterday
But seriously, Zahra is not to blame, as he was trying to play it politically, but we all saw that DSG and the others agreeing with her speech ans sheering a lot.

  2. She is the real man and they are the pussies.
    Bravo May.

  3. May is a strong lady and she suffered a lot. Therefore her testimony is so true and those who didn’t like it should go and live in syria where they can hear praises all day for their master bashar assad.
In Lebanon we have freedom of speech and freedom of rights, or at least that’s what we thought we have until now.
and u’re right cedar, zahra justifications were worse than the reaction itself.

  4. Tfeh 3ala heik mas2oulin !!!!
They promise us a better country, a better life? Well I don’t see how they will achieve such thing if they still can’t stand one opinion.

Long live May Chidiac, because with that world she discovered who tried to kill her and she proved why they tried to do that, they are afraid of her and I think they should be afraid of that strong person.
We need many of May Chidiac in our society.

  5. Dr. Geagea talked about the issue and defended May Chidiac. That’s what he said to al-akhbar:

    http://www.al-akhbar.com/ar/node/183176

  6. I don’t why u’re exaggerating? People have the right to agree on others opinion and tht’s what berri and sleiman did when they found out that what chidiac said doesn’t suit their politics. they didn’t arrest her or put a gun in her head, if she does still have a head.

  7. well said Cedar and well done May.
she said what more than 99% LFers think and feel.
who cares if they stay or go , the runaway is what we do when we don’t want to hear the truth.
